#CMT# #/CMT# The fore-end has lamellas made of exotic wood and adhered with each other using a bi-component epoxy glue. Holes (5-7) are formed at level of an upper part (8) and a lower part (9) of the fore-end, and inking arms (10) separate the holes. A monofilament carbon ribbon is inserted between each of the lamellas while the lamellas are adhered. An opening is provided in the fore-end to receive an elastic propulsion system. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for an undersea hunting crossbow comprising a fore-end. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used in an undersea hunting crossbow (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The lamellas are made of exotic wood and adhered with each other, thus providing excellent mechanical rigidity to the crossbow. The holes formed at level of the upper and lower parts of the fore-end permits the crossbow to be displaced in a better manner in the water. The monofilament carbon ribbon inserted between each of the lamellas permits to improve the rigidity of the fore-end. The structure of the fore-end permits to form, along its entire length, an integral arrow guide, which assures precision during shooting. The carbon ribbon guarantees the protection of the lamellas during the impacts, thus limiting the risk of accidents. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a lateral view of a fore-end. 5-7 : Holes 8 : Upper part 9 : Lower part 10 : Linking arms 15, 16 : Ends of the fore-end.
|
