<p>The invention relates to a process for hydrotreatment of a refinery mixed flux to obtain useful cuts. According to the invention, the process comprises passing a feeding petroleum cut containing organic sulphur-containg compounds, and hydrogen through a reaction zone containing a hydrodesulphurization catalyst at a pressure less than 300 psig (2068.5 kPa), at a temperature in the range from 300 F to 700 F (149 C to 371 C), to obtain an effluent, the temperature and pressure being adjusted so that the effluent temperature should be greater than the boiling point thereof and less than the dew point thereof, wherein at least one portion, but less than the whole material amount, in the reaction zone is in the vapour phase and a portion of the sulphur-containing organic compounds is converted into H2S.</p> |
