<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document processing system whereby a document processing apparatus MFD surely authenticates a client terminal MT and executes document processing while warranting the security. <P>SOLUTION: The client terminal MT and the document processing apparatus MFD respectively use first communication means 1, 11 to carry out radio communication associated with a document processing job, and respectively use second communication 2, 12 for making nearer distance radio communication than that of the first communication carry out communication associated with the authentication. Then the document processing apparatuses MFD executes authentication processing of the client terminal MT on the basis of the received authentication information and the document processing job received from the client terminal MT under the condition of the established authentication processing.
