<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system for providing a low cost SFP in a way extending the functions of the SFP to an MFP without deteriorating the performance. <P>SOLUTION: A data conversion section of an MFP controller 201 expands raster data 205 into exclusive compression image data 206 and the controller 201 transmits the data 206 to an SFP controller 101 via a communication line 210. Whereas, an input device 202 receives a print instruction of the exclusive compression image via a network. In accordance with the reception, a data discrimination section 203 of the MFP controller 201 collates data and makes communication on the network to receive exclusive compression image data 207. Since an SFP controller 101 receives the exclusive compression data as they are, the exclusive compression data 207 received by the MFP controller 201 are transmitted to the SFP controller 101 via the communication line 210 as they are without being processed at all inside the MFP controller 201. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
