<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motive power output device, which suppresses the deterioration of an accumulator, and an automobile mounting it. <P>SOLUTION: This automobile, which supplies a motor with power by an alternator and a battery connected in parallel, monitors the duty ratio Du of ON-OFF in a transistor which increases or decreases the current to be applied to the field coil of the alternator, and when this duty ratio Du is 100%, that is, the generation ability of the alternator 30 is maximum and besides a battery current Ibat is larger than current limit Ilim, it sets the torque limit Tim so that the torgue limit Tlim outputted from the motor may be strengthened (S120-S140), and controls the motor within the range of set torque limit Tlim (S190 and S200). Hereby, it can control the motor while taking the power balance between the alternator as well as the battery and the motor without directly detecting the high-voltage power of the alternator, so it can suppress an overcurrent from flowing to the battery and can suppress the deterioration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
