<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated steel sheet excellent in scratch resistance and slip properties, and a can body using it. <P>SOLUTION: The laminated steel sheet is obtained by laminating a stretched film comprising a polyester resin at least on the surface becoming the outer surface of a can of a steel sheet. The polyester resin is composed of a dicarboxylic acid component and a diol component, and the dicarboxylic acid component is telephthalic acid or isophthalic acid and the diol component comprises ethylene glycol. Further, a repeating unit comprising ethylene terephthalate is 85% or above in a mol% ratio and the coefficient of surface orientation in the polyester resin layer of the laminated steel sheet is 0.05-0.09. Furthermore, the thickness of the polyester resin layer of the laminated steel sheet is preferably 7-30μm.
