PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor air cleaning system using a swirling air current capable of reducing air-conditioning load in winter and summer by minimizing the amount of ventilating air not by simply installing an air cleaner in a smoking room, and furthermore following a guide based on a health promotion method. SOLUTION: The air cleaner 6 having a suction port 4 and an exhaust port 5 is installed in a room 3 with a ventilation port 2, and a slit 8 is opened in a sidewall 7 of the room 3. The exhaust port 5 is disposed at the corner of the room 3 opposed to the slit 8. The slit 8 is formed in such a direction that air entering the slit 8 becomes an entering air current 9 shown in the figure along the sidewall 7, and the exhaust port 5 is disposed in such a direction that air exhausted from the exhaust port 5 becomes an exhaust air current 10 in the same rotating direction as the entering air current 9 along the sidewall 7. A swirling air current 11 is formed in the room 3 by the entering air current 9 and exhaust air current 10. The suction port 4 is disposed at the center part in the axial upper end of the swirling air current 11, and a fan 12 of the air cleaner 6 is operated to form a tornado toward the suction port 4 in the swirling air current 11.
