PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which can have both a lens part and a display part protected, while eliminating the protective function dedicated for the lens part. SOLUTION: The imaging device includes an imaging device body 1 provided with a lens part 3 and a display part 4 (2) movably attached to the body. The display part is moved to a first position, where it covers at least the lens part. Alternatively, the imaging device includes an imaging device body 1 provided with a lens part 3, a movable member 4 which is attached to the body and can be moved to a position, where it covers at least the lens part, and a display member 2 attached to the movable member.
