PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reproducing system for automatically selecting and displaying an image by which a user may be intrigued. SOLUTION: The image reproducing system sets the display priority on the basis of registered memorial information and a photographed date and time of each image. The image reproducing system sets the display priority of images to "1", which are photographed at the same past days as this day before an integer number of years such as one year ago, two year ago and three year ago from the present date and within one week before and after past days, and sets the display priority of the other images to "0". When the user instructs the image reproducing system to start the display of a slide show, the system automatically reads the images with higher priority and carries out the slide show of the read images.
