<p>The axe has ice screws engaged into an ice material and comprising a functional layer that is manufactured through plasma coating or with the help of a chemical vapor deposition procedure. The selected areas of the functional layer consist of a diamond like hard material such as carbon, where the material is positioned in diamond lattice with two similar atoms and/or in zinc blende lattice with two different atoms.</p>
