<p>The unit is assembled of two displacement pumps (1.1,1.2) with cylindrical housings provided with curved inner surfaces and both driven by a single device. A shaft is positioned off center in each of the housings carrying a rotor blade guided along the inner surface with its outer end fitted with an elastic lip. The unit is connected to the blood circuit (17,18,19,20) of the patient with an in- and an outlet.</p> |
