<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure for a branched connection body in a high pressure fuel rail securing high inner pressure fatigue strength and vibration fatigue strength and enabling efficient execution of a build-in joint process. <P>SOLUTION: A tubular part of a piece member 3 having an arc surface formed to stick to an inner circumference surface of a main pipe rail 1 and a roughly flat surface formed on a back surface in an opposite side of the arc surface, and provided with a tubular part having a flow passage for high pressure fuel passing through an axial center at a center part of the arc surface, is fitted in a through-hole of the main pipe rail from an inside flow passage and is fixed with having a tip part thereof project from an outer circumference surface of the main pipe rail. A fuel flow passage communicating to the tubular flow passage for high pressure fuel is formed on the axial center and a cone shape pressure receiving seat surface is formed on a tip part at a tubular tip part of the projecting piece member. A male screw part is provided on a tip part side of the outer circumference, and a tubular screw member 4 provided with a tube part on another end part side connecting to the same is fitted to form a branch joint metal fitting, and the joint metal fitting is joined and built in to the through-hole of the main pipe rail under a condition where high air-tightness is maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
