<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery in which various problems regarding a battery using an electrode having a conventional intermetallic compound are solved, which is superior in productivity, has a high capacity, and is superior in cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: This is the lithium secondary battery in which a pair of electrodes composed of a positive electrode and a negative electrode are filled via a separating material formed on at least the negative electrode surface, in which the negative electrode contains the intermetallic compound capable of storing and releasing lithium ions in which an element layer 3 that does not react with lithium and an element layer 2 that can react with lithium are laminated and heat-treated, and in which the separating material contains at least a first polymer of which the softening point is 150°C or more and a second polymer to be adhered to the electrode surface as a constituting element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
