<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert symbol data into a reception bitstream efficiently while reducing computational complexity. <P>SOLUTION: A despreading unit 110 despreads a reception signal. A synchronous detection unit 120 synchronously detects a despreading signal, resulting from despreading the reception signal, using a correction channel estimate output from an estimate correction unit 170. A RAKE combination unit 130 performs RAKE combination on the synchronous detection signal. A phase rotation unit 140 adds phase rotation, corresponding to a channelization code, to the RAKE combined signal. A QPSK demapping unit 150 outputs a reception bistream by demodulating the signal output from the phase rotation unit 140. A channel estimation unit 160 performs channel estimation using the reception signal.
