<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a female joint member with a movable valve element 30 to be smoothly returned to a closing position even after connecting a male joint member thereto for a long time, and to provide a pipe joint equipped therewith. <P>SOLUTION: The female joint member comprises a closing position thrust seal 32 which is thrust to be held between the movable valve element and the inner peripheral face of a female body 26 in the axial direction to prevent fluid from passing between the movable valve element and the inner peripheral face of the female body and leaking to the outside when the movable valve element 30 in the female joint member 10 is at the closing position, and an opening position thrust seal 34 which is thrust to be held between the movable valve element and the inner peripheral face of the female body in the axial direction to prevent the fluid from passing between the movable valve element and the inner peripheral face of the female body and leaking to the outside when the movable valve element is at an opening position, as shown in Fig. 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
