PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid AF camera, which has a plurality of focus detection (AF) systems, with an auxiliary light device capable of effectively irradiating light to a subject in any one of the AF systems. SOLUTION: The auxiliary light device includes an AF sensor 17 for carrying out phase difference AF, an imaging element 30 for carrying out contrast AF, and a lamp 25 for emitting AF auxiliary light.
