PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery method which realizes an efficient spare ejection recovery action and maintains the ejection function of an inkjet head. SOLUTION: The inkjet head with a plurality of nozzles for ejecting ink droplets, a spare ejection recovery means for recovering the ejection characteristic of the inkjet head, and a measuring means for measuring an ejection speed of the inkjet head are set.
