PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin coated aluminum alloy sheet adapted to a can lid having stable opening properties, feathering resistance and excellent processing adhesion, and the can lid using it. SOLUTION: A large number of fine holes are formed to an aluminum alloy sheet and the perforated aluminum alloy sheet is subsequently subjected to Alumite treatment, silane treatment or both of the Alumite treatment and the silane treatment to obtain a surface-treated aluminum alloy sheet. A multilayered resin containing a polyolefin resin is applied at least to one side of this surface-treated aluminum alloy sheet to obtain the resin coated aluminum alloy sheet.
