PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the current corrector of a rolling stock for reducing aerodynamic noises at the running of the vehicle while the increase of the abrasion loss of a current collecting sliding plate and a wire and the shortening of maintenance cycle can be prevented even if the function of a driving mechanism is impeded. SOLUTION: The current collector of a rolling stock includes a current collecting boat body 1 having a current collecting sliding plate 2 in contact with a wire, an insulating insulator for supporting the current collecting boat body 1, and a driving mechanism for driving the insulating insulator up and down and holding the contact between the current collecting sliding plate 2 and the wire. A front edge 1a and a rear edge 1b in the vehicle travelling direction of the current collecting boat body 1 are formed in almost vertical plane. The space between the front edge 1a and the rear edge 1b of the lower face 1c of the current collecting boat body 1 is formed in an arcuate face projecting downward, while a projected strip 21 extending to the direction crossing to the vehicle travelling direction is formed at the position located before and after the lower face 1c of the current collecting boat body 1.
