PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress variations in beam diameters of light beams on a photosensitive body which are to be generated by the inclination of a light emitting surface. SOLUTION: In an optical scanner of the present invention, a first adjusting screw 54, a second adjusting screw 56 and a fixing pin 58 are projected from a light source supporting surface supporting a light source 12, and they abut on three points of surroundings of the light emitting surface 50. Then, beam diameters of light beams on the photosensitive body are adjusted by adjusting the inclination of the light emitting surface 50 with the first adjusting screw 54 and the second adjusting screw 56.
