PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body temperature controlling apparatus which mathematically, minutely and continuously gets hold of a heat transfer situation of an animal or the human body wherein the heat is hardly transferred to a central portion and the temperature autonomously changes, increases the deep temperature in a wide range by optimizing a heating efficiency and maintains the temperature in a certain range. SOLUTION: The body temperature controlling apparatus is equipped with heating means 1a-e to cover the whole of the human body lower than the neck, and several fans 2a-f at various places to ventilate the inside, and executes the heating or the temperature control of the deep part of the human body by acquiring a heating period of the resonance of the surface and the deep on the basis of an FFT analysis of the body temperature and periodically changing the heating amount by the ON-OFF operation of the heating means with the same period and the same or the opposite phase.
