The invention relates to a closing and opening device for drawer runners (10), comprising a guide rail (12) to be fastened to the frame wall of a piece of furniture and - optionally with an interposed intermediate rail (11) - a slide rail (14) to be fastened to the drawer and movably mounted in relation to the drawer slide (14). A latch housing (22) is mounted on one of the above-mentioned outer rails and is provided with a movable latch element (24) that is pretensioned in a bi-stable manner in two end positions at a distance from each other in the direction of movement of the drawer by means of a spring arrangement. Said latch element comprises a seat (36) for a dog (26), provided on the other rail, which is inserted into the seat during the relative displacement of the rails as the closed position is approached, and the pretensioned movable latch housing (24) is pivoted and thus released from a corresponding end position. The latch element is displaced into the other end position under the effect of the spring tension and entrains the rail associated therewith via the dog (26) that is retained in the seat (36) in the drawer retraction direction. An opening and closing device (20) comprising a touch/latch mechanism acts upon the latch element (24) and upon or in the latch housing (22). When the push-in motion directed in the direction of closing the drawer is exerted on the drawer held by the closing and opening device in the closed position, the closing and opening device (20) displaces the latch element (24) and, via the dog (26) engaging in the seat (36) of the latch element, the slide rail (14) and thus a drawer held on the slide rail by a defined degree in the drawer opening direction. |
