<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system whereby an operator obtains a result of stable printout within a prescribed range at all times without the need for the operator to carry out a special job. <P>SOLUTION: The print system is configured such that the system allows a printer to have only to print a density measurement patch and automatically to measure the optical density, resulting in automatically completing the calibration at the initiation of the system, at start of printing or when the operator designates start of a job or like processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
