PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonreciprocal circuit element that can more considerably be downsized than theretofore, and can achive high performance when its outer size is similar to that of the conventional one. SOLUTION: The nonreciprocal circuit element includes a magnetic rotor 1, a permanent magnet 2, a first yoke 31, and a second yoke 32. The permanent magnet 2 is provided to at least one side of the magnetic rotor 1 to apply a DC magnetic field to the magnetic rotor 1. The first and second yokes 31, 32 configure a magnetic path for a magnetic field caused by the permanent magnet 2, and include: face plate parts 311, 321, rising parts (312, 313, 323, 323) rising from the face plate parts 311, 321, and the end faces 310, 320 of the rising parts (312, 313, 323, 323) are opposed to each other.
