PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicarrier signal demodulation circuit and a multicarrier signal demodulation method of correcting a residual carrier frequency error for independent packet signals, furthermore correcting a phase rotation and a clock error, and demodulating signals subjected to space division multiplex transmission from signals transmitted independently by each packet. SOLUTION: A multicarrier signal demodulation circuit includes: an automatic frequency control means for receiving a received signal subjected to multicarrier modulation and detecting and correcting the carrier frequency error applied to the received signal; a multicarrier demodulation means for applying multicarrier demodulation to the signals whose carrier frequency error is corrected; a signal demultiplexing means for receiving subcarrier signals after being subjected to the multicarrier demodulation, outputting subcarrier signals demodulatable by an existing system and thereafter demultiplexing the subcarrier signals into preamble signals applied to the space division multiplexed signals and the space division multiplexed signals and outputting them; and a phase rotation detection correction means for detecting and correcting the phase rotation applied to the space division multiplexed signals outputted from the signal demultiplexing means.
