PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile information terminal device capable of executing various functions by one outer panel, and to provide the outer panel. SOLUTION: There are provided the outer panel 5 detachably attached onto a back 3b of a display unit body 3 of a portable telephone 1, and an electronic circuit 14 that is provided on the outer panel 5 and executes a prescribed function by lighting an LED 16. The electronic circuit 14 can be detachably attached to a groove 13 in the outer panel 5.
