PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable arrangement of a fuel injector formed such that a first purpose is to enable prevention of protrusion of the fuel injector and miniaturization of an outboard motor and a second purpose is to reduce fuel adhered to the wall surface of an intake passage and not to limit the shape of the intake passage. SOLUTION: In an engine 10 of structure formed such that, in a plan view, intake pipe 31 is connected to an inlet port 45a of a cylinder head 14, formed by casting, through an intake passage 45 and a fuel injector 60 is situated between the intake passage 45 and a valve system part A1, the cylinder head 14 has a valve system part mounting part 14a on which the valve system part A1 is mounted and a fuel injector mounting part 14f, and the valve system part mounting part 14a and the fuel injector mounting part 14f are situated such that at least a part 14e is lapped when seen from the direction of a crank shaft.
