DEHYDRATING BREATHER APPARATUS AND METHOD

A dehydrator breather appartus (10, 100) for hydrating air (29) in a container
(27), which includes purging of accumulated moisture by detecting (111)
absorbed moisture in the breather (125) by closing an air passageway (105)
while opening a moisture exit port (119 ) . A control module (101) adjusts a
default time-based purge cycle to account for fluctuations in the detected
moisture. The control module (101) includes an external communication
capability (175) to enable a monitoring station to monitor the breather
appartus (10, 100).
