<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system with high reliability capable of easily and surely removing water drops condensed inside a stack, capable of sufficiently preventing voltage drop after re-starting due to condensation of water drops, inability of re-starting, and damage of the stack. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises a fuel cell stack 104 generating power by fuel gas and oxidant gas supplied through flow passages A and B, exhausting residual fuel gas and oxidant gas through flow passages C and D; a first switching means 110b for supplying fuel gas; a second switching means 111a arranged on the flow passage for exhaustion; a third switching means 110a for supplying oxidant gas; a fourth switching means 111b for exhaustion; and pressure reducing devices 112a, 112b reducing the pressure of a first sealed space formed by closing the fuel supply passage and exhaustion passage by the first and the second switching means, and a second sealed space formed by closing the oxidant gas flow passage by the third and the fourth switching means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
