<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an accident where a removable medium storing confidential information is lost or stolen when the medium is brought out, consequently the information is leaked due to repeated attacks by a third person. <P>SOLUTION: A dedicated read program executed in a computer 103 encrypts a content to be divided, transmits partial divided contents together with expiration date information to a content server 102 to be stored therein, and stores the remaining divided contents in a removable medium 104. The dedicated viewer program executed in the computer 103 receives the partial divided contents from the content server 102, and synthesizes them with the remaining contents read from the removable medium 104 to be decrypted, thereafter displays them.
