<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load in processing for increasing processing speed, and to improve image quality in binarization data. <P>SOLUTION: An MFP has: a first binarization processing circuit 112 for outputting first binarization data, where inputted image data are binarized according to first algorithm when the image data are inputted; and a CPU 101. The CPU 101 includes: a second binarization processor 151 for generating the second binarization data, where the image data are binarized according to second algorithm; a comparator 155 for comparing the first binarization data with second ones to determine a region to be corrected; a second binarization processor 157 for binarizing the region to be corrected in the image data according to third algorithm; and a substitution section 159 for substituting the pixel value binarized according to the third algorithm for that, at the region to be corrected included in the first binarization data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
