PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardenable adhesive composition improved in easiness in bonding vulcanizable rubber materials and/or resin materials as adherends to each other and in peeling resistance after heat bonding and to provide a method for producing a bonded product using the hardenable adhesive composition. SOLUTION: The adhesive composition comprises 100 pts.mass (A) rubber component containing not less than 50 mass% halogenated butyl rubber, 2 to 50 pts.mass (B) filler, not less than 5 pts.mass (C) at least one member selected from among resins and low-molecular-weight polymers, not less than 0.1 pt.mass (D) thiuram-type and/or substituted dithiocarbamate-type vulcanization accelerators, and not less than 0.1 pt.mass (E) at least one member selected from poly-p-dinitrosobenzene and 1,4-phenylenedimaleimide as a crosslinking agent and a crosslinking aid. The method for producing the bonded product comprises interposing an unvulcanized hardenable adhesive layer formed from the hardenable adhesive composition containing an organic solvent between adherends and subjecting the assemblage to heating and vulcanization.
