PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time and effort for retrieving information on components applicable to some other purposes by using an exclusive database system. SOLUTION: An information managing system inserts a component into a printing apparatus for printing an image and judges the component to be usable or not. The information managing system has an information processing means capable of reading and writing in a non-contact way using an electric wave, a reading-out means reading out a plurality of component-inherent information stored in the information processing means, an analyzing means analyzing a plurality of information read out by the reading-out means, a displaying means displaying the information analyzed by the analyzing means on a displaying part in a forming apparatus, a printing means printing the information analyzed by the analyzing means, a judging means judging whether the component is used or not based on the information analyzed by the analyzing means, and a setting means setting the component under a usable condition when the single component is used in the forming apparatus by the judging means.
