PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid absorbable core which can absorb a body liquid in the whole area efficiently by equalizing rigidity. SOLUTION: The liquid absorbable core 20A is formed of a mixture 21 obtained by mixing at least polymer particles and pulp among highly absorbable polymer particles, milled pulp and thermoplastic synthetic resin fiber and compressing it to have a prescribed thickness, and has a plurality of low rigidity parts 24 and the other part 25 except for the low rigidity parts 24. In the core 20A, the low rigidity parts 24 are aligned intermittently in a vertical direction and a horizontal direction with the other parts 25 therebetween. The density and the basis weight of the mixture 21 in the low rigidity parts 24 are lower than those in the mixture 21 in the other parts 25. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
