Sliding valve, especially for a refrigeration or heating circuit, comprises a valve housing (1) with walls having at least one fluid inlet opening (5) and at least one fluid outlet opening (6), and a slide (9) for temporally closing at least one of the openings. A plate (7) having at least one through-flow opening (8) for the fluid and made of low-friction material or having a low-friction surface facing the slide is arranged between the slide and the housing wall having the opening to be closed.
