<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display segment having a luminance distribution in high efficiency and uniformity. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of LED dies 102, 104 are arranged on a carrier 106, and a reflector structure 422 having a cavity 411 is formed so that it may enclose the LED dies 102, 104. An intermediate reflector structure 416 is arranged on the carrier 106 in the cavity 411 between a plurality of LED dies. The reflector structure 416 has intermediate reflector walls 418, 420, and light emitted from the LED dies 102, 104 is radiated outside from the cavity 411 in such a way that it is reflected by periphery reflector walls 412, 414, and the intermediate reflector walls 418, 420. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
