PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating mechanism with a turning cover for a chair device for aerial move, capable of operating close to the turning cover for the chair device for aerial move, and realizing secure latching. SOLUTION: This chair device for an aerial move facility is provided with turning protective cover 13 operated by an action mechanism 15 for automatically latching a cover in a closed state. An operation lever 16 is rotatably installed on a first turning shaft 14 of the cover 13. The action lever 16 actuates with relation to a hook member 20 that is moved between a latch position and a release position by a transmission device 17 having a cable 21. The hook member 20 comprises a first arm 27 having a projection 28 for latching, and a second arm 29 designed to be engaged with a first stopper 30 at the latch position, and engaged with a second stopper 31 at the release position.
