PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple dwelling house building formed of an efficient, inexpensive floor plan compared with a conventional one and having high aseismatic/wind-resistant performance. SOLUTION: The center part from the top view of the building 1 is provided with open ceiling sections 4, and a dwelling unit section 13 is arranged to surround the open ceiling sections 4. A core section 5 is provided to cross the open ceiling sections 4, so that the building 1 is formed in plane form of squarish eight shape on the whole. Columns and beams are convergently arranged at the outer peripheral part and inner peripheral part of the building 1 and formed in double tube structure composed of an outer peripheral tube frame 2 and an inner peripheral tube frame 3. The outer peripheral tube frame 2 and the inner peripheral tube frame 3 are connected by connecting beams 16 disposed at the corner parts of the building 1. A seismic control damper is installed in each of planes of structure 12 in two horizontal directions surrounded by core columns 10 constituting the core section 5, and core beams 11 laid between the core columns 10, 10.
