PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent resin composition containing an informative nucleic acid that can specify individually and concretely the origin and history of a particular product. SOLUTION: The transparent resin composition contains an informative nucleic acid having a moiety having an arbitrary and known base sequence. The transparent resin composition is embodied by one wherein the informative nucleic acid is carried by microparticles or one in which an informative nucleic acid having a moiety having an arbitrary and known base sequence is contained, and the content of the informative nucleic acid is 0.5 to 500μg per 100 g of the composition.
