PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability of various types of scissors by improving feeling when in use. SOLUTION: In Western style scissors 1, both scissor pieces 2 and 3 are pivoted on a rotation center part 4 so as to open and close, and finger inserting rings 10 are provided on both handle parts 6 arranged on the scissor pieces 2 and 3. A plurality of fin plates 16 are arranged side by side on the finger inserting ring 10 so as to extend from the inside to the outside. Grooves 18 are formed between the fin plates 16 as flexure allowable spaces. Each finger contact part 19 comprises an outer end part of each fin plate 16 and an opening of each groove 18 exposing between the outer end parts. A force is applied to the finger contact parts 19 by putting the fingers so as to bend each of the fin plates 16. Thereby, the finger contact parts 19 have appropriate degrees of elasticity even if there is limitation of design conditions such as types of material, thickness or the like of the finger contact parts 19.
