PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pump system which is effective even for a patient with weak vision or hearing and allows an alarm to be surely perceived even when clothes are put on. SOLUTION: The blood pump system 1 comprises: a blood pump 2 provided with a housing with a blood inflow port and a blood outflow port, an impeller which is rotated inside the housing in order to feed blood and a motor for rotating the impeller; a controller 5 electrically connected to the blood pump 2; and a battery 6. The controller 5 is provided with an abnormality detecting function of detecting the abnormality of the blood pump system 1, and a vibration means 59 to be operated in the case that the abnormality is detected by the detecting function.
