PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus capable of improving the durability of laser light sources by suppressing the temperature rise in the peripheries of the laser light sources, and capable of providing a clear observation image despite a long-time use. SOLUTION: This endoscope apparatus 1 is provided with an endoscope insertion tube 2 extending tubularly, light emitters 9 provided in the endoscope insertion tube 2, and laser light sources 20a, 20b and 20c irradiating the light emitters 9 with laser light; and observes a subject by irradiating the subject with light with a different waveform emitted by the light emitters 9 using the laser light emitted from the laser light sources 20a, 20b and 20c as exciting light. This endoscope apparatus 1 has at least two laser light sources 20a, 20b and 20c and a changeover control means 27 sequentially changing over its driving among the laser light sources 20a, 20b and 20c.
