The invention relates to lightweight concrete comprising granular glass foam having at least one grain size fraction with a binder, preferably cement, asphalt, or synthetic resin. The granular glass foam is provided with a grain size fraction of at least 2, preferably at least 4. A filler material having a grain size fraction of up to 4, preferably up to 2, and a concentration of 0.1 to 50 percent, preferably 0.1 to 25 percent by volume relative to the lightweight concrete is provided as a moiety of fine material. Blown glass balls, preferably with a sintered surface, can be used as a filler material, for example. |
