<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost "vehicle mounted audio system" capable of dealing with multichannel source. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle mounted audio system 100 comprises a DVD player 10 for reproducing an audio signal, front side and rear side speakers 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, noise correction filters 40, 42, 44 connected between the DVD player 10 and the front side speakers 20, 22, 24, switches 160, 162, 164 connected between the DVD player 10 and the rear side speakers 26, 28, 30, a section 170 for judging whether an audio signal is multichannel or not, and a switching control signal C for making the switches 160, 162, 164 select the output from the DVD player as an input if the audio signal is multichannel otherwise making the switches 160, 162, 164 select the output from the noise correction filter as an input. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
