PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display information from a plurality of service agents during the browsing of information on the Internet.

SOLUTION: A client 301 acquires and displays the contents of a page to be browsed on the Internet 201 through a server 303. A customer DB306 stores the data of the user of each client. A setting DB307 stores data set by the user about the genre or period of advertisements or news to be displayed. An information/advertisement DB305 registers the field of information from each service agent. A server 303 refers to the information/advertisement DB305 and the customer DB306 and the setting DB307, and selects and transmits the information of advertisements or news or the like in a field that the user needs from information from each service agent. Thus, the information of the advertisements or news or the like is displayed at a sub-window during the browsing of the designated page at a main window in the client 301.
