<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular monitoring device suppressing writing process of a noise image to a memory means, not requiring long time for specifying an assailant, and having excellent convenience. <P>SOLUTION: An image pickup means 1 is arranged on a vehicle 10. A contact sensor 2 detects contact to the vehicle 10. The memory means 4 stores an image taken by the image pick-up means 1. A controlling means 4 shifts to a stand-by mode capable of storing a surrounding image by the image pickup means 1 on the basis of image pickup information obtained by the image pickup means 1, and makes the memory means 4 store the surrounding image taken by the image pickup means 1 on the basis of input of a contact signal from the contact sensor 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
