<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a direct mail point system for promoting the opening of a direct mail. <P>SOLUTION: A direct mail 12 is provided with an opening point ticket enclosed with a direct mail text inside a sealed letter or a pressurized postcard on which the predetermined number of opening points and a first bar code are written and a point enclosure mark showing that the opening point ticket printed on the surface is enclosed. A receiver 13 mails the opening point ticket to a point bureau 11, or reads the first bar code on the surface of the opening point ticket by a portable telephone set 16 with a camera.
