<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently carry out a service such as a discount using a scratch card at a self-ordering restaurant. <P>SOLUTION: This order settlement system is provided with an order slip issue device 1 issuing an order slip 4 by using the scratch card and a settlement device 2 settling a transaction. The order slip issue device 1 prints menu item information and order identification information on the scratch card to create an order slip 4 when a menu item is selected. The settlement device 2 reads the menu item information printed on the order slip 4 and discount information stored in an area, from which a scratch ink layer in a scratch part of the order slip is scraped off, and settles the transaction of a transaction amount, which is found by subtracting a discount value based on the discount information from a price of the menu item according to the read information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
