<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a world timepiece capable of setting easily the present time at proper timing, and a method of setting the time. <P>SOLUTION: This world timepiece 79 is operated based on a reference time input from an RTC 76, and is applied normally with the reference time as the present time. A time difference setting part 80 sets time differences with respect to the reference time to be stored in a back-up memory 118 as the first-third time differences 120-121. A application time setting part 81 sets the first-third application times 123-125 of the timings applying the first-third time differences 120-121 to the present time to be stored in the back-up memory 118. A present time providing part 82 adds to the reference time the time difference corresponding to the application time when the reference time reaches the application time, to calculate a time difference time, and sets the time difference time as the present time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
