<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable card housing device which can prevent the skimming of the card information leaving the card holders unaware of it by blocking the permeation with the electromagnetic waves radiated from a skimming gadget while enabling the utilization of the non-contact IC cards while being housed as intact in the portable card housing device. <P>SOLUTION: A spacer type card case 1a has a cover 20 covering one side part of the non-contact IC cards C which are connected to a housing part 30 for housing the cards using the electromagnetic wave G that permit the non-contact reading of the information. The cover 20 is provided with an electromagnetic wave shielding part 3 for blocking the permeation with the electromagnetic wave G and the connection part of the housing part 30 and the cover 20 is so formed as to let the electromagnetic wave shielding part 3 shift to the closed position of covering the non-contact type IC cards C or to the opened position of covering none thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
